Bio Joshua Edwards is the author of Castles and Islands (Liang Editions, 2016), Architecture for Travelers (Edition Solitude, 2014), Imperial Nostalgias (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2013), and Campeche (Noemi Press, 2011), as well as a photobook, Photographs Taken at One-Hour Intervals During a Walk from Galveston Island to the West Texas Town of Marfa (Edition Solitude, 2014), and a zine, Giapan (Antler Press, 2014). He also translated María Baranda's book-length poem Ficticia (Shearsman Books, 2010). His photographs have been the subject of solo exhibitions at the University of Arizona Poetry Center, Rice University, Akademie Schloss Solitude, and Galveston Artist Residency. Born on Galveston Island, he lives with his family in West Texas and Chicago. He directs and co-edits Canarium Books.
